Human Society & Its Environment

When specific HSIE objectives are considered by teaching staff, broad themes are constructed merging the students' interests, needs and passions with the 'big life questions'; those that have driven philosophers, thinkers and leaders from time immemorial.

This statement from the NSW syllabus document guides much of Kinma's learning program:

"The future wellbeing of human society and its environment depends upon the quality of people's interactions with each other and with their cultural, social and physical environments as they strive to meet each other's needs"
